RAIN AND CLOUD. Rain has been driven from various quarters to-day, and the conditions are wintry. Six degrees of frost were recorded this morning, and at 9 a.m. the barometer stood at 28.95 inches. Twenty-seven points of rain fell in the night/ The temperatures yesterday varied from 32 to 50 degrees. OFFICIAL FORECAST. The following forecast was issued to-day: Indications are for southerly winds, strong to gale, Stormy weather may bo expected. The weather will probably be very cold, and snow on uplands.
