Playing at Rakaia, Allenton defeated the home team by 10 points to o. The game was fairly fast, especially toward the finish. For Allenton, grounded a try, Pennal put over a Penalty goal, and White potted a goal. Cornelius scored two tries for Rakaia. Mr H. J. Chapman was the referee. In the game played at Mayheld, between Old Boys and the home team, J. McLaughlan scored Mayfield s try a couple of minutes after the start, it was a good bard even game throughout. Mr Guiney refereed. Plaving against Hinds at Hinds, Sprihgburn-Mt. Somers' total of 9 against Hinds' 3 came from three unconverted tries. Hinds got its points from a penalty goal. Mr W. Page controlled the game.

In the match to have been played against Methven on the Showgrounds, the Ashburton team defaulted, the second time this season. THIRD GRADE.
