Discussing the security pact, Herr Stresseman, Foreign Minister, in an interview with the "Cologne Gazette," said that Germany was unable, and did not desire, to enforce the re-adjust-ment of her eastern frontiers. She could not be expected, however, to renounce rights laid down in Article 9 of the 'League Statutes, to the effect that unapplicable agreements are modifiable.
