THE WEATHER

WARM AND BRIGHT. A north-west wind to-day. a, d°d b> bright sunshine, has rendered the atmosphere very warm. There is little strength in the wind, which is not raising the dust. The barometer maintains a moderate level, and a ' a 29.75 inches at 9 a.m. to-day. The temperatures yesterday ranged between 4b and 55 degrees. OFFICIAL FORECAST. The following weather forecast was* issued by the Government Meteorologist this morning: Indications gre for variable and moderate breezes, but northerly moderate to strong prevailing and freshening. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather, and the neather will probably become warmer. The barometer has a falling tendtency^
