AN IDEAL DAY. The sky has been almost free from clouds to-day, and a north-easterlv breeze is keeping the atmosphere cool and fresh. , The north-west wind yesterday became violent toward the middle of the afternoon, and a dust storm enveloped the town. The wind died down in the evening, and the night was clear. The thermometer ranged between 44 and 74 degrees. At 9 a.m. to-day the' barometer stood at 29.82 inches. OFFICIAL FORECAST, The following weather forecast wjns issued by the Government Meteorologist this morning: Indications are for variable and moderate breezes, hut westerly moderate to strong prevailing. There is a orospect of fair to cloudy weather. The barometer has little movement.
