There was a large attendance, pnd the totalisator investments amounted to £49.934, making a total of £103,266 10s for the meeting, compared with £93,586 10s last year. Concluding results:—

Manakau Handicap; 2 miles.— King Capitalist 1, Pyramus 2, Spirit Bell 6Won by a long neck. Time, 4.40 d-o. Richmond Handicap; 2 Queen's Own 1, Olive Huon 2, Promenaie 3. Won by two lengths.
