A message from Santa Rosa, California, states that warnings to Japanese to vacate their ss pear packers have been delivered in the Mendocine County by a party of men in an automobile. • According to Sheriff Ralph Byrnes, advices from Tokio report that Japanese newspapers are publishing articles saying that the Ku Klux Klan is intimidating Japanese. The sheriff investigated -the circumstances and found notes reading: “Out with the Japs; first warning.—K.K.K.” some Japanese workers are said to have left for San Francisco.
