A. pair cf tom-tits, who built a nest in* a Ca-tteerall pillar-box, have been allowed hv the postal authorities to retain possession. Another pair have their nest on clie of the sprin/s of a .roods train which travels daily between Knott End and Garstang, and a thirc. pair have their home in a street lamp.
