THE WEATHER.

FROST AND SUNSHINE. The sky last night cleared after a cloudy day, and shortly after sundown the atmosphere became very chilly. There was a fairly severe frost, 10 degrees, this morning, but the chilliness was soon dispelled by the warm sunshine which prevailed all day. The barometer this morning read at 29.88' inches, a slight rise, while the highest and lowest temperatures (inside) during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. were 46 and 26 degrees respectively.

TG-DAY’S FORECAST. The following forecast was issued:— The indications are for southerly winds, moderate to strong. Thore is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather. There will probably he a hard frost to-night. Barometer rising slowly.
