It is believed that he landed at an intermediate p° int which P rOTIOUsl y was prepared. .-''_ Two Japanese destroyers at present are searching. (Received This Day, 11.5 a.m.) TOKIO, July 17. There was-no word of MacLaren at five in the afternoon. ' The-papers are expressing a tear tuat he is lost. '-' -. g' READY FOR THE ATLANTIC. AMERICAN WORLD FLIERS. (Received This Day, 12.5 p.m.) v LONDON, July 17. The American world fliers flew to Brough, Yorkshire, where the aeroplanes will be fitted with new engines .and floats for the Atlantic .crossing.
