Miss Hilda H. Harle, daughter of Mr G. H. Harle, ex-postmaster at Ashburton, has passed in the anatomy second professional examination for thedegree of bachelor of dental surgery.
The Rev. R. J. Liddell, who just recently vacated the Willowby MethodistChurch circuit for Otaki, was, with Mi’s Liddell and family, given a welcome to the latter circuit. In replying. to the greetings, Mr Liddell thanked the various speakers for their wordsof welcome and encouragement, and’ stated that although he had been only a few weeks in the circuit he had found a warm welcome awaiting him. Hespoke of his early associations with some' of the ministers who had preceded him in the circuit, particularly the Rev. Hedley White and the Rev. F. Rands, the latter of whom laid down his life in the Great War, and. expressed a hope that he might attain to*, the same high standard of service that, they had set.
