The new Socialist Government _ has suggested an Anglo-Danish exchange of agricultural labour with a view to improving both nations’ knowledge of farming. IRISH BOUNDARIES. (Received This Day, 12.5 p.m.) LONDON, May 5. In the Hou.se of Commons, Mr J. H. Thomas announced that following on the appointment of a Free State representative to the Irish Boundary Commission, his Majesty’s • Government had requested the North of Ireland Government to' make a similar appointment. Steps are now being taken to appoint a chairman.

PIRATES IN CHINA. (Received This Day, 12.5 p.m.) HONGKONG, May 5. The Portuguese captain and an Indian guard in a motor-boat going to Kongmoon from Canton were l shot dead by pirates disguised as passengers at midnight on May 1. The pirates kidnapped 40 passengers after looting the vessel.
