PRISONERS SENTENCED.

(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, March 12. At the Supreme Court,., before Mr Justice Herdman, William Bradley, middle-aged, who had admitted 76 charges, the majority of forgery and uttering in various districts, was sentenced to three years' imprisonment with hard labour. The Crown Prosecutor said other charges were to be dealt with at Wellington, John Albert Roberts, a' young man, for attempted false pretences, theft, and obtaining credit by fraud, was sentenced to two years' imprisonment with hard labour. I Austin McCormick, on eight charges of theft from his employers, the Northern Steamship Company, was sentenced to three years' reformative detention.

Edward William Hersman, for false declaration of birth, was fined £lO.
