NOT NOW A PRISONER. J (Received this day, 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, March 12. The "Daily FJxpregs" says the dispute between the Pope and the Italian Government is about settled. The Pope will no longer consider himself a prisoner in the Vatican. The terms include that the Government will surrender the whole Vatican Hill and build at its own expense a series of houses for the college cardinals, who are now scattered throughout the city. In return, the Holy See will hand its scattered properties to the Italian Government. The 'League of Nations | will guarantee the independence of the j Pope.
