SCENE AT ALBERT DOCKS.
CLASH WITH STRIKERS. (Bcr Press Association, Copyright.,. (Received This Day, 11.35’ a.m.) JiGNDOI, July 25. There were exciting scenes at the Royal Albert Docks. Thousands of strikers attempted .to prevent 25 -meat vans sfrom entering the docks, and the police -.were forced back until reinforcements rushed up in motor -cars, and tlx. lorries succeeded in dispersing the crowds. The vans entered the docks by another routeLONDON, July .24. Most of the dockers at Tilbury have resumed twrork.
The shipowners have -refused to negotiate with fhe docker.*’ unofficial strike committee. The sirob is expected to efiect the strikers, 'who are growing impatient with thea* unofficial leaders.
