dullness prevails. Although no rain was registered at the Domain weather station for the 48 hours ended at 9 a.m. to-day, the sky has been overcast during the greater part of that time. There was a temporary clearing last evening, and the frost gauge registered 4 degrees of frost this morning, with, a minimum inside reading of 33 degrees. The maximum reading yesterday was 48' degrees. The barometer was reading at 29.68 inches at 9 o’clock this morning, a rise of about 12 points on yesterday’s record. The conditions, though dull, are not unpleasant. TQ-DAY’S FORECAST. The following forecast was issued The indications are for variable and moderate breezes, but southerly moderate to strong prevailing. The weath.eC will probably prove cold and showery, but the weather should improve shortly. There will probably be a hard frost to-night. Barometer rising slowly.
