dullness prevails. Although no rain was registered at the Domain weather station for the 48 hours ended at 9 a.m. to-day, the sky has been overcast during the greater part of that time. There was a temporary clearing last evening, and the frost gauge registered 4 degrees of frost this morning, with, a minimum inside reading of 33 degrees. The maximum reading yesterday was 48' degrees. The barometer was reading at 29.68 inches at 9 o’clock this morning, a rise of about 12 points on yesterday’s record.
