KIRKWOOD AGAIN PLACED. NEW YORK, March 16. At Belleaire, Florida, in the open golf championship of the coast, Farrell and Gordon tied for first place, with a score of 69. Smith and Kerrigan tied for second place with 71, and Kirkwood and Barnes tied for third place with 72. Hagen was fourth with 75.
AMERICAN CONTESTS. NEW~YORK, March 17. At Belleaire, on the first' day Of the 36-holes match, Hagen, Farrell, and Smith tied for first place with a score of 144. Gordon was fourth with 145, and McLean fifth with 146. Kirkwood, Barnes, and Awton tied for sixth place with 147. /
