EGMONT RACING CLUB.

(Per Press Association.) HAWERA, February 7. The Egmont Racing Club's summer meeting opened in fine weather. Totalisator investments amounted to £25,861 as against £23,443 on the corresponding clay of last year's meeting. Concluidng results:—

Egmont Cup—Kick-Off 1, Mark Time 2, Orucelle 3. Won easily by three lengths. Time, 2.7 4-5. Apprentices' Handicap-—Militaire 1, gunny Vale 2, Mxture 3. Won by a length. Time, 1.30 2-5.

Egmont Stakes —Tamateta 1, The Hawk 2, Rational 3. Won by a nose. Time, 1.15.

Waipapa Hack Handicap—Skylight 1, Vindictive 2, Miss Beauforte 3. Won by half a head. Time, 1.51. Whaiveroa Handicap—L'Amour 1, Blackmail 2, Sunny Jim 3. Won by three-quarters of a length. Time, 1.50.

DUNEDIN JOCKEY CLUB. DUNEDIN, Feb. 7. The Dunedin Jockey Club's autumn, meeting opened at Wingatui to-day in bright, warm weather. Totalisator investments amounted to £32,439, compared with £34,380 for the corresponding day last yean. Concluding results :

Dunedin Cup—Roseday 1, Scrimmage 2, Eleus 3. Eleus was coupled wih Scrimmage. Won by a long neck. Time, 2.31 2-5.

Champagne Stakes —Wild Hind 1. Razzl© Dazzle 2, Kilris 3. Won by a neck. Time, 1.15.

Berwick Handicap—Samura 1, Barmaid 2, Osterman 3. Won by threequarters of a length. Time, 1.29 3-5.

Stewards' Handicap—Some Kid l 1, Lady Blissful 2, Conflict 3. Won by a good half-length, Time, 1.42.>
