SOVIET IN DOMINION

BOLSHEVIK APPEAL TO THE DOMINIONS. • • * 4NEW ZEALAND SUBSCRIBES £6OO ' (Per Press Association, Copyright.) (Received This Day, 8.45 a.m.) (United Service.) LONDON, December 12. Some Soviet Captain Cook has discovered i Australia. The next mail boat carries a load of Bolshevik propaganda for a million dollar loan for Russia. The Commonwealth was overlooked until the last moment.

McLaine, a member of the Workers* International Russian Relief Committee, states that the Soviet is disseminating propaganda in all Englishspeaking countries. By a strange mishap Australia was overlooked and was only discovered to-day. He added: “I am afraid we have been rather provincial, paying too much attention to England and forgetting the Dominions, but now we have discovered the mistake we intend to pay much more attention to Australia and confidently expect that the Labourites in Australia will generously contribute. “Regarding New Zealand, we recently received £6OO for famine relief from them. We propose to do all possible to further cement such relationship. England’s allocation of the .loan is £20,000.
