CYCLING.

THE CHERTSEY CLUB. The Chertsey Cycling THub held a road race for local riders last Thursday evening. There were fifteen starters. The place-fillers were—F. Crowe 45secs, 1; F. Gould 45secs, 2; A. McLachlan 45secs, 3. J. Blackburn scr, fastest time, 38min 30secs. The club is holding a race on Saturday, December 16,. The race is open to all-comers, twice round the block, a distance of 26 miles. The prizes are £5 Ist, £3 2nd, £2 3rd, and £2 for fastest time.
