SATURDAY. STUDHOLME SHIELD MIATCH. The match in the Studholme Shield competition played on the Domain Oval between Ashburton A and Ash-i burton B resulted in a draw. There was a fair attendance of the public. The' A team batted first and netted 245 runs for the fall of nine wickets. To this total T. Hanley and R. McGregor each scored 43. C. Judge (38) and M. Keeley (35) were the next best on the list. The B team’s score was 152 for six wickets, the highest scorer being C. McNicol, who put on a creditable 73. J. B. Nicoll made 31, and H. A. Boddington 20. Chapman captured four wickets and McNicol two for the B team, and for the A team McGregor I took four wickets. Details were as follow:
