DOMINIONS AND MOTHERLAND

The resolution carried at the Imperial War Conference m London, 1917, favouring special treatment and facilities by each part of the Empire to the producers and manufacturers m other partß was quoted m the House of Commons by Sir Lloyd Graeme m reply to Mr Alfred Davies, who asked whether the dominions were systematically encouraged to give preference to British goods m contracts. Mr Lloyd Graeme said there was ample evidence that British industry benefits by the preference accorded by the dominions.
