THE usual express train which leaves Dunedin at 11.15 a.m. and arrives Christchurch at 7.28 p.m. on" Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, WILL RUN on FRIDAY, 4th NOVEMBER. This train will NOT connect with the Ferry Steamer at Lyttelton. The usual express train which leaves Christchurch at 8.45 a.m. and arrives Dunedin at 4.45 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, WILL RUN on MONDAY, 14th NOVEMBER. On 12th and 14th NOVEMBER a Special Passenger Train, stopping at the same stations as the 12.20 p.m. express train, will leave Christchuroh for Timaru at 1.0 p.m., arriving Timaru 4.42 p.m. The 12.20 p.m. express train from Christchuroh on 12th and 14th NOVEMBER will not take passengers for stations up to Timaru inclusive, except for Fairlie Branch. On sth NOVEMBER a special train, stopping at certain stations only, will leave Timaru for ChristchuTch 7.0 a.m., arriving Christohurch 10.49 a.m. Special" train, taking passengers 1 from Christchurch and Sockbum only for stations South of Ashburton only will leave Chiristchurch for Timaru 7.30 p.m. On sth, 7th, Bth, 9th, 10th. and 12th NOVEMBER the usual 4.5 p.m. train for Asburton and Methven j will leave Christchurch at 5.30 p.m. This train will stop between Addington and Rolleston inclusive only to pick up passengers for south of Rolleston. On 7th NOVEMBER special train will leave Methven 6.40 a.m., arriving Rakaia 8.0 a.m. (connecting with traih , for Christchuroh). On, llth NOVEMBER the usual 7.15 a.m. train from Ashburton for Christchurch willl le&vev, Ashburton 8.5 a.m. After leaving Chertsey this tra t in will stop only to set down. Special train for Christchurch will leave Methven 6;40 a.m., Rakaia 8.5 a.m. This train will stop where required to set down passengers. Special train for Rakaia and Methven will leave Christchurch 4.55 p.m. The usual 4.5 p.m. train for Ashburton will leave Christchurch 5.35 p.m. This train will not connect at Rakaia with the train for Methven; and will take passengers for south of Rakaia only, and stop where required to pick up such passengers.
