MR MASSEY AND THE CONFERENCE. (Per Press Association, Copyright.) OTTAWA, September 6. Mr Massey, m an interview at Cobalt, Ontario, said the next war would be fought with the Pacific as the centre of activities. The Armaments Conference at Washington would be incomplete without the representation of New Zealand and Australia, but owing to the fact that the Parliaments of both Dominions . would be sitting while the conference was m session, he doubted if either would be m a position to send delegates. Mr Massey added that he favoured renewal of the Anglo- Japanese Alliance.
