GENEVA, September d f With the appointment of the commissions, which take charge of the sectional work o£ the Assembly, the Australian delegation has started its work at Geneva m earnest. Mr S. M. Bruce was elected to^-Commission No. v dealing with constitutional matters, l&cluding the amendment of the Covenant; No. 4, which deals with finance; and the Budget; and No. 6, dealing with political disputes between States and the admission of new States. Mr L. M. Shepherd was elected to Commissions .No. 2, which receives the Teports of the various , Commissions which sat during the year; No. 3, disarmament; and No. 5, humanitarian, such as opium traffic, women, and children, and typhus.
