THE REASON WHY. v ■■' ■ . There exists to-day a new sense of security, m commercial circles — tho panic of the past months due to the financial position is disappearing, and gilt edge business is beginning to operate. A big contributing factor is the manner m which prices of Old Country products have stabilised. Merchants are thus able to better estimate future transactions. A higher standard of quality is also operating — .the makeshift elements of war-time disappearing Its effect upon the Tailoring Trade is good. Materials that cost exhorbitant figures a while ago are now coming to hand at very much lower prices. Tailoring is thus cheeper because the suiMngs are cheaper, • Other elements su % h as labour, overhead charges, etc., remain as before. We can thus make fou a very Smart Tailored Suit at a reduction of about 20 per cent.
