HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE.
The' final screening ,<wiU take place this evening at His' Majesty's .Theatre of the picturisation of that stirring novel ''Westward. ( Ho!" by Charles Kingsley. This is, one of the finest pictuxesi yet made by an English producer. It is an all-British production S dealing wi£h a story which holds a t prominent place m English literature, > and apart from its historical.*interest' it is a pcture .whch has a. fascinating appeal .throughout.;; The programme to-night will include the latest chapter of the serial "The .Silent Avenger." TormoaTOW, at , the afternoon and evening .performances, there, will be ' shown a powerful dramatic subject, "Man's Desire," which is a vivid drama of the timber country with a "kick" m every, reel. The "desire" of Tom Denton was a normal, healthy, and manly craving —to make, a good woman happy. Tom bad other desires, too, one -was to "get" the,. scoundrel who had killed his brother m cold blood and had terrorised the, girl Tom wished to make happy, into a compulsory marriage. It's a high pressure drama, with Lewis S. Stqne m a role that gives him plenty to do, and lie' does it m a snappy way. :
