MAYFIELD
A meeting was held m the Mayfield Hall on ' Monday night to consider prospects of holding a series of euchre tournaments and dances throughout the winter. There was a large attendance. Mr W. Edis was voted to the chair. It was unanimously decided to hold a euchre tournament and dance weekly for a period of three months, the opening night being fixed for Wednesday, June 29. A committee was formed as followg : — W. Edis. D. Sewell, Jr., G. Sewell, G. Harrison, and J. Tait. Secretary and treasurer, M. Cuneen.
