90 per cent. wa3 sold at auction. There was exceptionally good competition, pieces and I>«llies m some cases bringing more t^an fleece wool of the same clip. Merino sold up : to ll^d. The prices ranging from low crossbreds to fine half^reds, other than supers, were considerably above the London parity. Crossbred sold up to B£d, and halfbred to 10id.
