NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC OF ASHBURTON. WE HAVE JUST RECEIVED THE FOLLOWING LETTER FROM DODGE BROS:— TO THE HUPP AND DODGE AGENCY, ASHBURTON. We have received a letter making an enquiry for Dodge Bros.' Cars, supposed to have been sold m Wellington for £200 each. Thin silly rumour iias been circulated throughout the Ashburton County, and is being accepted jy a number of people as the iruth. Wo would like to mention, as Agents Tor Dodge Bros, m that territory, that the rumour is entirely without foundation, and if any person can be lucky enough to purchase Dodge Bros. Cars at that price, or even a considerable advance on "that prioe, we will be happy to relieve them of their purchases for at least £500 apiece. This silly umour does absolutely no good, and we think we are not asking you too .auch to contradict it whenever it is mentioned-. Our offer, above mentioned, is genuine, and we can assure you that the Dodge Bros.' Agents, right throughout New Zealand, have a financial backing as strong as any other Motor Firm m New Zealand. They can afford '.o pay for all the cars they are likely to get, and the sympathy bestowed upon them by certain individuals is unasked for, and most certainly, not required. We would, therefore, ask you to assist ut, if possible, to counteract the silly rusiuurij that are being conveyed throughout the Ashburton Distr^t. Yours Faithfully, DODGE BROS., LTD., Wellington, N.Z. HUPP AND DODGr- AGEWCY, BURNETT STREET, ASHBURTON.
