"THE END OF THE ROAD."
A film which is said to be of great educational value on one of the- most serious problems of the tunes is Ihe End of the Road," which is to be' screened at His Majesty's Theatre on Friday and Saturday. "The End of tlie Road" deals with social problems and shows the dangers that may accrue from ioose living.- Its lesson* is powerful and obvious. In accepting the leading role, Richard Bennett knew that the world was moving-rapidly in; favour of the very propaganda- that had brought condemnation on his own •liead a few'years-before. "The End of the Road" •-serves a great purpose, in that it brings home to the people' the fact that the red scourge can be spoken of and campaigned against in language which, though plain, is .never obscene. The feminine "lead is sustained by Claire Adams, one of the most beautiful women in filmland. Children under 16 years of age are not ■admitted to "The End of the Road.
