Scottish and Yorkshire woollen trades are faced. with a crisis., Manufacturers have orders sufficient- to keep open heyond February, and the crisis is due to London houses 'refusing to f" accept delivery of millions of yards of ■V cloth placed early in the year at top -prices declaring that tFeir warehouses ■are choked with cloth, which retailers will not buy at any price. The Scottish and English Manufacturers Federations are preparing a black list or merchants not adhering to*contracts. 'No newspapers whatever will be published in England on December 25, 26, and 27.
