Next Saturday's race for the sculling chamoionfihip of New Zealand between Haunan, holder, of Blenheim,and Fogwell, of Sydney, has been • abandoned, as Hnnnan has been order.-., ed to give up training for at least two months, owing .to a recrudescence of an old injury to his knee. He, has had to forfeit his deposit and the title reverts* to Fogwelll.
