LONGBEACH.

The monthly meeting of the Longbeacii iioad Board was held on Saturday morning, the following members being present: Messrs W. T. Lill (chairman), W. J. Ande'rson, A. Moore, J. P. McQuilken, and L. Maginness. The chairman reported a debit balance at the bank of £448 6s 7d. A letter was received from Mr H. Muir asking for the lease of a reserve at Waterton. —This was agreed to. The ranger's report dealt with a number of cases of stock trespassing on the roads. It was resolved to advertise regarding the right to cut cocksfoot on the roads in the district. The following roll alterations were made: —From H. Oxenham to J. H. Grigg, lot 4, D.P. 955; from W. Wsitson to T. Stapleton, lot 2, D.P. 3730; from G. W. Kennaugh to "W. B. Bryant.
