TREATY WITH BRITAIN

(Per Press Association Copyright.) DELHI, December 10. It is announced that the Afghan delegates having placed the results _ot the recent discussions before the Amir, the latter wrote to the Viceroy in the friendliest terms, inviting a British Mission to Kabul for the conclusion of a treaty. The British Government has now authorised the Government of India to accept the same. The Mission will cross the frontier at the end of December. India has been expecting the announcement for some time. _ It has been well received, as there is a strong feeling that some definite relations "* with Afghanistan are highly desirable.
