Samuel, of Aberystwyth, hi urging the need for national economy at an Aberystwyth conference. • Mr Williams, a schoolmaster, asked ' why they should not ride in cars. " I nm a worker, and work as hard as anybody, but I was. showing this as a sample of extravagance," replied the alderman. "Perhaps they. might , like a RollsRoyce instead of a Ford," suggested a delegate.
