[The Admiral Codrington • was purchased by the Poverty Bay Farmers'; Meat Company, whose headquarters are at Gisborne. The vessel was fitted up with refrigerating machinery at Auckland, and a month or two ago was sent Home with a cargo of frozen meat. The Admiral Codrington is the first refrigerated ship to be owned by a farmers' company in New Zealand.].
