SCARE STORIES UNFOUNDED
LONDON, April 28. The Australian Press Association understands that official circles discredit the reports from Germany referring to the large secret army immediately mobilisable, distributed over the Prussian estates. The authorities admit that Pomerania is likely to cause trouble for some time to come, owing to the obstructionist tactics of the remnants of Kawep's followers, but the Allies Missions report the. work of disarmament is proceeding with comparatively iittle friction.
On the other hand, Germany's export of arms and ammunition to Finland and the Baltic States raises a difficult problem. . It may be necessary to stop this traffic in view of its effect in interfering with the eiforts to secure world-wide disarmament.
