STRIKERS' REGRETS.
LOYALTY PROCLAIMED
'WELLINGTON, April 29. The Executive, Council of the E.F.C.A., in ah official statement, expresses regret at being compelled to inconvenience the public in order to obtain an improvement in the deplorable conditions of work. The Executive hopes the Prince of Wales may yet be given a royal welcome, by a speedy settlement. The members of the executive will participate in the demonstration in Wellington, and extend to him a. hearty welcome. The executive is sorry a more speedy settlement was not brought about.
There was no improvement in the suburban railway service this morning.
