SPECIAL CABINET MEETING.

ROTORUA, April 28. The railway position was considered "by Ministers at a special Cabinet meeting to-day, as a result of which a telegram was sent to Mr McArley, secretary of the Engineers' Association. The Prime Minister left immediately after Cabinet rose, and is proceeding via Taupo to Napier, en route to Wellington.
