FIRST DIVISION RESOLUTION.

DUNEDIN, April 28. The executive of the Railway 'Officers' Institute to-night decided that the _ Minister of Railways should bo advised that the the institute .would not agree to the proposal made by him in a tetter dated April 21 with regard^ to the appointment of a commission. It was further, resolved to adhere to the claim made before the Railway Wages Inquiry Board on Feb. 5, and repeated to the Minister of Railways' on April 14, in respect to salaries of the members of the Firs* Division .The general secretary was instructed' to advise Mr Massey to this effect.
