LYNDHURST.

The annual mooting of householders was held in the Lyndhurst School on Monday, when there was a good attendance. It was decided trT repeat the request to the Education Board for an elargement of the school, placint*. before them tho urgency of the need owing to the increased roll number. The meeting passed a motion placing on record its appreciation of tlie valuable services rendered by Mr Capon, who had served as chairman of the committee for the last 15 years, and who was not seeking re-election. The following committor- for the ensuiug year was elected:—Messrs W. G. Breach (chairman). W. Cook (secretary and treasurer"), W. J. Dickie^ 0. E. Newton, and Mr Houston.
