Tlie Auckland police have been advised by the New Zealand Shipping Company of a wireless message received from the Remuera, en route to Auckland from Southampton, which states that a murderous assault has been committed on board. The police are to arrest the offender, whose name is not yet known, on the vessel's arrival at Auckland on Saturday morning.—Press Association.
