HORSE FAIR.
The New Zealand ' Farmers' Cooperative Association, Ltd., held their monthly horse fair in the auction mart yesterday. The entries were -very large, and spirited bidding realised good prices. There was a specially big demand for young working horses. The following were the principal sales :— Gelding (6yrs)' £40, do. (6yrs) £42 10s, do. (9yrs) £39, mare (syrs) £36, do; (7yrs) £37, do.
