The New South Wales quarter-mile swimming championship was won By Norman "RoSS 1 < America), Long worth being second and Brown third. The race was won in the easiest manner by twenty yards, in omin 22 sees. (Received January 8, 11.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, January 8. Norman Ross established a. world's record time in the 4.40 yards swimming championship, and could have improved the time as the result was never in doubt.

The 220 yards breast stroke championship resulted: Finlay 1, Beck 2, Furness 3. Won by six yards. / Time 3min 20secs. '
