Scott, discussing the future of the Navy, emphasises the vulnerability of battleships now costing eight millions; and suggests the construction of many aeroplanes and carrying ships. Both ships and aeroplanes would be usable in peace time tor the carriage of passengers. Sir P. Scott adds: The battleshipaeroplane is going to develop rapidly in a fen' years.
