successful. Mr W. F. Watters said that it was intended to compile a short history and register of past pupils and he asked for any particulars which would further the project. Mr J. Tucker thanked the old pupils for the material assistance they had given the school by organising concerts and bazaars, and subscribing money. Mr Tucker enumerated some of the school acquisitions which ■ had been made possible by the old pupils. During the evening, Mrs V. Humphries contributed a pianoforte solo, and Messrs A. Belshaw and E. H. Bastion songs. Competitions were,, won ..by Misses Cowan and Lloyd,, and- Messrs Mostyn Thompson and H. .W&tson:- At 10 p.m. two large rooms were Cleared' for dancing, which was kept up till an early hour.
