MOTOR CARS BURNT.

CARTERTON, J.uly 11. A disastrous fire occurred last night, Hughan's garage and Pitcher Bros.' cycle . depot being totally destroyed. The outbreak appears to have started in Pitcher's, and from there spread to Hughan's. The whole stock of both premises was lost. In the garage there were 30 cars, seven of which belonged to Hughan. All were destroyed. The fire was discovered by the occupants of a motor lorry returning from Martinborough, but both building's were' too far gone 3 to be saved. Hughan's insurances are a littlo over £600 (? £6000) on the buildings and stock, and Pitcher's .£2OOO on the stock. Hughan ostimates his loss at between £3000 and £4000, and Pitcher his loss at £2000. - ; f - .
