A BOY SUSPECTED.

\ , HAWERA, July 11. . Inquiries have been made here with reference to the obstruction of the railway line at Manutahi. It :is alleged that the obstructions were placed on the line by a boy about 12 years of age, who ran away from home after receiving a thrashing. It is stated that the ganger found the lad playing with a pickhandle on the line. The police have the matter in hand.
