AMIR'S OBJECTIONS.

The Amir's letter, dated June 29, has been received. The Amir.'protests against the one-sided character' of the 'armistice terms, which are impossible of literal observance.
He asks for the withdrawal of British troops from Spinbaldak and Dakka, and the abandonment of the use of aeroplanes. The -Viceroy, in replying, points out that Afghanistan began the war, and also, that she is now anxipus_to sue for peace. He declared the-modification of the armistice terms is impossible, and says it is unnecessary to prolong correspondence,, and. directs .the Afghan delegates to present themselves in the British lines at 6 a.m. on July 22. '
